I have an MS in Math and belong to the "Russian" school of understanding and teaching math. I also have a US graduate degree in Social Sciences. I believe that mathematics is a beautiful and easy subject to learn and teach. I think of math as an ideal work out to develop logical thinking, concentration, and self-discipline. I have been lucky to have great math teachers both at school and the university. All of them had a talent for presenting complicated concepts in simple terms. I believe that I learned that skill and I apply it in my work to the fullest extent. The best compliment that I hear from my students is that happy exclamation -- "Oh, this is so easy!" I have 10+ years of individual and group tutoring and 2+ years of online sessions via Skype and Webex. Laughing and having fun are an essential part of the my classes and my life in general :)
