ExperienceI have taught physics, biology, and chemistry before at both the high school and middle school levels. I have also tutored students in physics, chemistry, and biology in a variety of settings.
I have strong test-taking skills (800 in SAT math, 800 in SAT II math, 720 in SAT II biology, 780 in SAT II Chemistry, and 800 in GRE Quantitative Reasoning). I have taken all major sciences at the collegiate level and have strong content and pedagogy knowledge.
I'm interested in working closely with students to help them succeed in school and have a flexible schedule.
HobbiesThere's nothing I love more than a beautiful tree. I also love to bike, swim, garden, and cook; I even tried my hand in fishing this year! I rarely have free time, though, as I busy taking care of my two young daughters. I also read a lot on history of science and am very interested in exploring how the public thinks about and interacts with science.
